89 911 stops while running then crank no start.
 

89, 911T while driving motor will quit. No stuttering or chugging just instantly stop, power is still in dash as radio stays on. Popping clutch sometimes restarts but not quickly. On attempt to restart if push starting doesn't work it takes about 5 long attempts to restart.

DME relay checked sat, since intermittent 10 times in past 2 months and local wrench couldn't get a fault code, replaced ECU and speed/reference sensors. As I was leaving garage ($2200 less in my pocket...) , motor died. Pulled off road and 5 long cranking attempts then started. My next guess is ignition switch or alarm relay.

I've had the car a year, put about 4k miles on it now has 136K. Never had problems before. I thought since it started during the hot season here in Washington mabe that was tied in. Nope does it when it's cool out and motor cool.

New info. DME relay replaced. Will update.

I had a connector in my speed sensor connector come loose under the rubber boot. Intermittent problem, a pain to find. You might want to check there.
