Video of GT3 Cup Car at an PCA AutoX

I shot this video in 2003, but just put it up on YouTube. (I have a full length video of more AutoX action, but it's too large to put on YouTube.) It was a rather chillly day (barely above 50 degrees and drizzly) but it was a decent turn out. Still, at the end of the day, Dave Shardt (?sp) got his GT3 cup car out and did a run with rather humorous results.

Anyway, just wanted to share...

I'm not sure if that's the exact same car or not (I think it is) but its for sale on the OVR website. It'd be a GREAT beast for someone to pick up ! I want a GT-3 in the WORST way !

The number and wheels are different but looks like the same car. WAY too much machine for an Auto-X !!!!!! - But that was funny none the less, I was there for that one too !

I'm guessing it's the same car. Remember, the video was shot in 2003. I think it was shortly after you got your 911 Richard? I think your car is on the "long" video...I'll see if I can find a way to post it...

I actually got mine back in '01 but didn't really start Auto-X stuff for about a year or so after that. She needed some TLC (Tinkering, Lowering & Cussing) before being DRIVEN that way again !!

My how time flies. When did we have that "turbo tie-rod party" at John's place?

Never have seen an AX course with so much stuff (building, tree, curbs) to run into. Looks like fun tho -
