944 seat belts in 911
WOOHOO!!!
I bought a pair of complete 86 seatbelts off EBAY for a very good price. I thought they might work in the 911. My driver's side was frayed and didn't retract very good. They worked perfectly. I didn't even have to change out the female ends between the seats. I DID have to modify a locating hole on the retractor mounting. The old ones had a pin that was slightly smaller in diameter. I enlarged the hole a bit and bolted everything up. SWEET!!! I have the female ends available if someone needs them for a good price. PM me.
