Flipping Gears in a 901 Box????
Does anyone know if you can flip a "V" Gear (27:25) and flip it over and make it an "R" Gear (25:27)??
Just curious. I dont think you can but I could be wrong.

There is a race on October 14-15 in Vegas. I will not be there. I am hoping to make the last race of the season at Willow springs. November 15-16 or something like that. The new 2.5L and gear box should be ready.. MAYBE...

Aah, the importance of the title.
“Would this 901 gear swap work?” If you take a 4-5 gear and use it reversed, it will only fit in the 3rd gear position. That would be a VERY tall 3rd gearAgain this adds forces on the pinion 4-point bearing rather than counteracting the axial force from the pinion.
