Exhaust question
Stupid question I'm sure but here goes. Working on replacing the muffler on my '79 SC.
Are the straps supposed to come off the bracket that is connected to the motor? When I removed the muffler the straps came off as well. Dave

Yes. The straps aren't permanantly fastened to anything. They wrap around the muffler and around the bracket.
