what kind of early sport seats are these?
We just bought this car with these nice seats.
Anyone know what they are? Thanks

I don't like them, but I'm willing to take them off your hands for 100 euro's. Deal?!
 Joke! Hold on to them. They're Recaro rs seats and worth a lot of money. A pair just sold on Ebay for €2500 and they needed to be restored! |

oops- next one
these were actually sold for for a few years after 67. They were available from Recaro in the aftermarket sector and mounted in other makes as well. the shells are actually thesame as the RS one piece "low side" units that were covered in the sable material and different foam underlays nice find!

could you do us a favor and take some close up shots of the mounting plates, brackets, and hardware? it makes for a nice reference for others when they find seats like this

do you recommend painting or powder coating the brackets? |

originally the brackets were painted, but powder coating is certainly a better technology. Semi gloss black is a nice finish for them
