Turbo Tie Rod Install

Does the Turbo Tie rod kit fits exactly on my 1976 911? Took it to my mechanic to install, and he is telling me they are different, and he thinks it doesn´t fit.

Brazil,
The tie-rod kit consists of two tie-rods(...), with a balljoint at one end and a thread at the other, PLUS two BIG washers that go at the steering box between the rod and the box, two castellated nuts and locking "pins" for the castelleted nuts
No problem whatsoever on my '76 Carrera.

AFAIK the turbo tie rod kit fits ALL 911s from 69-89, maybe earlier ones too, as well as all 914/4's and 914/6's.

If you have not bought the Turbo tie rods you might look at the units sold by Vasek Polak. They have adjustment for bump steer and are a solid non rubber unit like the Turbo ends

They fit on my '69S. I'd be shocked if they won't fit a '76!
