AFM problem & ?'s

My 89 won't idle after The engine gets hot. It runs at about 2500RPM. Does anyone rebuild these or what other fixes are out there for this problem. Anyone tried to mount one from a BMW.

Check your throttle linkages and cruise control cable that it is not hanging up the butterfly. Then check your idle microswitch that it is consistently activating when the throttle is closed, or it will hang high.
