Megasquirt on a 3.2
Has anyone tried this? Or is the dme the way to go? Seems to me the megasquirt uses more up to date tech. and is by far more simple. Any ideas, opinions, or pics? Thanx, Duke

How far from OEM is your combo? There are some tuners that can manipulate the fuel map pretty well. Protomotive can make it work with forced induction. Are you going to convert the bellhousing and flywheel for DME? Megasquirt is obviously more adjustable but a blank slate so tuning is obviously mandatory. MSII can multiplug and run without a dizzy. It can compensate for compression, cam timing, induction and exhaust alterations.

Luke, As of now I'm stock but looking to the future. I'm just trying to get a feel for the megasquirt and it's adjustability. Looks like I might need some help in the tuning department but the MS site is pretty helpful.

Steve Wong...Do a search he has seemingly mastered the DME pretty well. I think he has a site and certainly seems like a gentleman willing/open to discuss this before ditching DME.
1. If she is running with DME currently, then I'd check with Protomotive and Wong first. 2. If she currently is not running and/or your missing some of the OEM parts, then I'd certainly consider MSII (fact, I've got MSII sitting in the garage to be installed with ITB's).
