Team Tech 5 point or 6 point harness?
 

Would these be considered a 6 point harness with camlock? Also, are they good for DE since their date is marked July 2000?

I'm trying to decide to keep or sell these harnesses. They appear to be complete and in good shape.

I'm running Teamtech's in my SC which is a DE only car. I've been told that they're only good for two years..as per FIA ruling.

That said, no one has ever checked my belts nor asked about them.

PS.what tail are the belts covering? For sale perhaps?

They appear to be six-point. I've never seen anyone date-check belts at a DE. Hell, I've never seen anyone at a DE even check if the harnesses are installed correctly.

NY65912, that is a '76 Turbo tail replica that will be getting prepped, painted, & put on my car next week (unfortunately not for sale--I just bought it yesterday!).

What do the bottoms of the 6-point attach to? The floor? The eye bolts where the lap belt attaches?
I might be interested and I'll be down in NJ Saturday (autox at Raceway Park).

Porsche virgin, that's a really good question (I "inherited" the parts so I'm not sure how they were attached to the car). From this picture,

it apears that they would connect to the lapbelt bolts, and that angle seems to provide the "anti-submarining" effect (whatever that means).

I'm really not 100% sure on this, so you may want to check with someone more in the know (my car is strictly a street car--it even has a baby seat in the back--with a 5-pt harness).

I have the 5-Point version of these belts, they are fantastic, much easier to adjust than others I've tried and they are comfrotable for long sessions.

From the picture you also seem to have the brey-krause anchor points that allow the lap belt part of the harness to be installed w/out disrupting the regular seat belt. They are great.

The bottom two belts attach to eyebolts installed through the floor pan. On some cars you would need to move the motronic box a bit in order to get the proper anchor placement.
