A place called Thunder Ranch made it for me. He is producing my 550A6 kit. The body will be carbon fiber so I'm going nuts with the rest. This is his first attempt at 911 parts. It looks beautifull. He would like to produce some choice parts for auto crossers/racers who would like to get the weight of thier vehichle down. Parts like doors hoods etc. like the R's.

It is impressive, but I prefer the original red shroud of the S and RS ... and the engineer in me leans toward the wafer-thin, translucencent fiberglass of the 906 ...
That carbon fiber must have set you back a bit in the wallet! ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

Isn't that a lot of weight to be using only a 2 arm engine yoke?!? From everything I've read, that is a no-no. Having had 911 engines on stands, I don't think I'd be very comfortable with that set up (I'd modify the lower arms so that you could use all 4 arms to support the engine).
Other than that, looks cool! |

I had to go back and look. Three arms are in use. I don't hope to have the engine on forever it seems very secure.

I got the bolts from Titanium bolts. They have colored aluminum bolts. I'm thinking the purple is a bit much, I may just get some black ones.
