on early 911, where's the turn signal flasher?

I have a 65 911 and have looked everywhere but can't find the signal flasher/relay, and none of my books tell me. Does anyone know where to look? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here ya go...driver's side near the hood shock...this is on my 70E (was studying the fuel vapor recovery system) so can't guarantee your earlier car is the same. If all else fails you can find it by following the clicking sound, if yours still clicks at all...good luck!

Forgot to mention, if you have fairly small/medium hands you can reach this sucker from the inside through the gauge openings if you pop the gauges out. Just be prepared to swear good & loud when you nick, sprain or mangle your hands in the process of replacing the little rascal...
