IS the extra money worth it for the Power Kit? I am installing a new clutch and want the best bang for my wife's buck.

Recently put one on my stock 81 SC. You really don't notice any difference on the street, but it seems to have 'crisped up' my autocross launches. Perhaps its a 'tad' more aggressive but not by much. I would spend the extra $80 again.

What RPM do you launch at in an autocross? You don't just do a drag race start, do you?
