Link to german page W/yr date numbers built: where is it?

I'm looking for a thread, and just can't seem to find it now:mad: which appeared in the past week or so. Someone posted a link (Maybe Steve@rennsport, or Wil or Grady...) which pointed to a German language page, but useful nonetheless for those of us who don't read German. It had info regarding the various model years, engines, numbers built in coupes, cabs, targas etc. I can't find it agAin. Does someone recall this thread and would you please provide the link; it's to the point where I'm almost bummed and am posting this to find it:rolleyes: TIASmileWavy

 Here it is.
“VIN Check” with links http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/201301-quick-vin-question.html http://home.arcor.de/s-g-e/911dat.htm I haven’t compared this to my original Porsche documentation. Sorry I didn’t read the post sooner. Best, Grady |

Thank you for your replies Wil and Grady; I did eventually find the thread in question http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/308819-i-too-need-help-iding-early-eng-tranny.html and LeeH provided the link in question in that thread. More information is good though. Thanks again. SmileWavy
