They are used for a car that runs coilovers. They can not be used for cars with torsion bars as they do not have a receiver for the bar. You can adjust toe independantly of camber with them and they have a rod end instead of a rubber (or aftermarket) bushing on the torsion tube end. They usually (depending on who made them) give you the ability to raise the front end pick up point as well if you like. They run between about 800 and 1000 depending on where you shop. They are not required on coilover cars but are a nice upgrade. If any one wants some pics I can post a few.
Cheers

Yeah, what they said. 935 spring plates allow you to adjust toe, camber and pickup-poin independently of each other. It also allows you to cut the torsion tube in case you want to install later-style gearbox in early car.
Pickup-point is not rubber bushing but a uniball, so there is more road-noise transmitted into the coupé. On the other hand, there is no flex. Also, picking different pickup-points will give you slightly different weisach-style turn-in on rear wheel while cornering. It's a wise idea to strengthen shock mount towers by welding in triangular reinforcements when installing 935-plates. Especially if using very hard springs (whic subjects towers to higher load). I have one set extra. Send PM if interested. 550 bucks... Hirschmann uniballs (mostly used on rally-cars), Nordlock washers and heavy-duty 12.9 bolts. ![]()
