953 Paris-Dakar replica

I was thumbing through a Porsche book, and saw a picture of a 953 Paris-Dakar rally car, and was wondering what it would take to get my 79 911SC suspension that high off of the ground. I live in Minnesota, and my driving season is limited because of miniscule ground clearance. If I could get the ground clearance and put on some good snow tires, I could drive a Porshe year round without having to move to California.
I figure the handling is going to suffer (greatly?).

Check the lastest issue of Panarama and the article about the two off road 911's. The shop that did the work is mentioned and I think it is the Atlanta GA area. We have an early 911 here in the San Diego area that is raised and used for off road pre-running and it sure draws attention!
