Exhaust Pipe

Hey,
I have a question about exhaust pipes. What is the name of this pipe? Can I get a new one, the three smaller pipes that go into the heat exchangers are rotted out on mine. I could have someone weld three new pipes on, but it might be easier to get the whole piece. Does anyone have one for sale or know where I can get one.
thanks.

Those ARE the exhaust pipes, similar to 3-to-1 headers. The heater box is just that; it surrounds your header/exhaust pipes that generate heat.

If they are rusted through, get new heat exchangers. You'll never know if you have a corrosion in the inside of the boxes which would in turn bring exhaust fumes into your cabin when you turn on the heaters.

I had a 72 911t in 93'
I had 2 of the 3 pipes rusted through. I didn't have the $900 to properly repair the exhaust at that time. So I went to a cheap exhaust guy to see what he could do. Make it sound like you are challenging him. I got mine sounding like a porsche again for 25 bucks and 20 minutes.

I am trying to get the exhaust done with as little expense as possible. I believe the heat exchangers are good. I think I will go down to the muffler shop and buy myself some pipes and try and replicate the existing setup. I need to find myself a good welder.
