Slantnose VIN?
Can you verify a factory slantnose by the vin?

Craig as far as I know you can't tell a factory slantnose from the VIN. You can call Porsche and they may be able to verify. Is it an 83 model 930? Porsche PCNA may not have ROW in their computer here in the US, but I'm sure they can find out for you. Goodluck.

I only have two books and they just show that number as a early 83 turbo. One book shows 35 Slant Nose Turbos that year and one book shows 38.

It would not be in the vin. In '83 it would have been a special wishes car if it is factory.
