All four wheels off for a clean
My previous post shows how I dry ran a four corner lift.
Well today I used the one side at a time method and removed all four wheels. The wheels have been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. I then used degreaser to start to clean up the wheel arch areas - lots of general road dirt, but nothing too bad, and the good news is the kidney bowls et al are really clean and strong. Car was a California import so I expected it to be strong, and it is. The right hand wing / fender looks brand new (or nearly) and has no underseal. I am off to Tuthills on Wednesday for a waxoyl so wanted to take a look myself before then. Car was Brown and is now White which explains some of the odd colouring. If I get to pull the suspension to repaint under there, what colour and finish should it be ? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last picture is the 'new' wing / fender !
