3.2 engine valves adjustment

I saw that some members on the forum that need to re-open the valves covers after an adjustment because some noise are coming from the valve train. I will do this job soon on my Carrera and want to know what I need to be careful with to avoid to do the same error...Thanks

There are an immense volume of info on valve adjust on this forum. Do a search. There are basically two somewhat different methods. The only answer to your direct question would be to adjust the valves as meticulously as possible and re check ones or twice before button it up.

Personally I think the actual adjustment procedure is one of the most fun and rewarding projects on a 911.
