Wayne and Dan, just bought the 101 Projects and the Bently's book. I figured that box was just a "bling thing". Sean |
Cranky Insane System
Can't Inject Shi* I could go on and on (and often do...) |
Sean,
As you can probably tell from the postings, CIS systems can be a real b#$ch to fix when things go wrong. Perhaps it's just the luck of the draw but I have put nearly 500,000 miles on CIS powered cars and never had any kind of problem... just changed filters fairly regularly: 155K on a 76 VW Dasher 200K on a 83 Audi Coupe GT (the best overall car i've owned) 140K on the 74 911 Jack |
I used to call CIS names, but that was before I figured out how it works :p SmileWavy http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/munky2.gif

crappy injection system, what is on your 930 until you can afford to replace it with efi

I think the conversion you are speaking about is the t-blitz kit to convert from CIS to Fuel Injection. I must have on of the good CIS systems, No problems.

Hey Jack.......I'll take the heat. I really didn't know what the CIS was. Now I do, in fact, I know more than I wanted to know!!
I'll keep everything up to date and hopefully won't have the problems as some of the other guys. Thanks for the info. Sean |
CIS stands for "CIS Is Satanic"
