I would recommend putting in the relays no matter what bulbs you run.

i bought 4 used round relays, 4 used sockets , 4-15 amp fuses, some 10 gauge wire, some heat shrink end compression fittings and spent about 2 hours installing them. The relay sockets fit right into the holes in the fuse case (looks nice). put a compression fitting on each wire to the battery terminal. put 15 amp in line fuses. cost? 50?

the lights are super bright and the reduced power through the light stock cannot hurt.

do a search someone also sells a non-porsche relay setup that a lot of people use.. it is not expensive at all. i just wanted to use the stock relays.
