Finally finished garage remodel (pics)
I got sick of my unfinished garage and went crazy:
* new cabinets (Menards special) with black/red paint * 8ft cabinet base repainted black/red with 14 guage steel worktop. Casters underneath so I can roll it to center of garage for big projects and clean behind it. * homemade tire rack holds 4 tires/wheels * ceramic element gas heater * cable w/19" tv * add'l lighting four 4' flourescent lights * Rustoleum epoxy floor paint * Hand painted Porsche fuchs center cap doorpulls Hoping to add more posters/pics from DE's and such. So now that you've completed all the work you wanted to do, you moved into the next best place...awesome!
I would like to see a pic of the wall as well with the crest! -Matt

Cabinets were Menards unfinished oak at 7 x $50 each so $350. Paint for floor was $150 with extra color chips and anti-skid sand added. Worktop steel cut and 2" lip formed $100. Cabinet base free. Tire rack $20 other incidentals/paint $80. I figured I have around $700 to $750 in materials. I also put a row of 22" shelves above the 2 garage doors all the way across the back wall for stuff I need to keep but rarely touch--that really saved a lot of space and got the junk off the floor. Girlfriend lives with me--this is the one room she has not completely taken over.

Awesome! Love the crest on the wall. My wife told me that she wants to help me paint one on the wall in the garage when I finally get around to finishing the walls in the garage.

Awesome garage!
Not to hijack but, I see you have a Targa - did you save a place to hang your top - I find this VERY handy: ![]() Had to get the poster in there too! ![]()

Thx for kudos guys I love how it turned out-it was a lot of work over several weekends/nights. Nice tip on the targa top storage. I usually stuff it in the trunk. I have several more James Dean pics and DE photographs to add to walls that will help too.
