if your valve covers come of for valve adjustment/service, etc., is it necessary to retighten the nuts after a period of driving? i notice some tiny drops of oil coming from a couple of them on my car... they weren't real loose or anything, but a couple of them weren't as tight as the rest.

The valve covers should definitely be torqued to the proper spec (sorry, I don't have that handy at the moment)...however, the stock early valve covers are prone to warpage and leaking even when properly tightened. The turbo valve covers are much stiffer and are a recommended upgrade, not too expensive at around $60/pr used or $100-120/pr new I believe.

Also many folks use a little loctite and/or new locknuts to prevent loosening of the nuts.
