Talking Thanks everyone (good advice again)..

My rear axle nut was loose afterall... Simple fix.. Glad that this thread led me in the correct direction and that I didn't have to replace the bearings.

Glad I could help. Oh wait....I don't know what you're talking about.

Seriously, what was the original thread, or what were the symptoms? I have a real good growl at 5 to 15 MPH. I'm leary of the tires (Khumo Ecsta ES 100's), but I also have a very small amount of play at the driver's rear wheel. Up and down, not front to back, which I would think would be there in any axis if the bearing was bad, or going away.
