when all the pressures are good on the WUR Side and you have trouble shoot it accordingly with ben watts CIS book. Then you will find it was shot. I had the same problem with mine and opted to go EFI as the parts in the long run were cheaper and a little better technology

The fuel distributor does very little in determining your mixture. I believe they are blamed for other failures. The WUR (control regulator) is a more significant suspect. The distributor will effect cylinder mixture balance. The control pressure delivery volume is also controled bt the distributor. If it falls outside the design range, the WUR can not function correctly. If your problem is overall mixture, I'd investigate elsewhere prior to investing in the distributor. If it's only a cylinder or two, you could be on the right track.
