Pelican Parts Swap Meet - Sept 10th

Hi again everyone. It's with much pride that I am happy to announce the
Pelican Parts 1st Annual Car Show and Swapmeet. With the disappearance
of Automotion up north, and Tweeks leaving Southern California, there has been
a distinct lack of really good swapmeets in California in the past few years,
particularly in Southern California.
Well, we're ready to end all of that. We'd like to create a late summer gathering
that will draw from both the Los Angeles area and the San Diego area. The Pelican
Parts Swapmeet will be held in Rainbow, California, approximately half-way between
San Diego and Los Angeles.

We'd like to invite everyone to this meet, irregarless of what model Porsche you have.
(I'm not really sure which one I'm going to bring, the 356, 914-6, 911 or 944?? -
suggestions and votes welcome...)

There will be the traditional swapmeet, and then there will also be a people's choice
car show with prizes. Free CD-ROMs for everyone, of course.

So mark your calendars, and lets help restore swapmeets to Southern California!!!

Allan ... yeah, I guess it must be a (not really) hard choice to make ...

Guess I will have to choose between the Town Car and the Dakota if I'm going to make it to Pelican's swap meet ... the 'project' isn't close enough to being driveable in September!

Any other folks tempted to make the trip?

Sounds good to me BlueSky, Flagstaff, AZ is particularly beautiful in September! Warren watch out for the "soccer moms" on the way over from Texas.
