Conversion 81 to 93 RS
Hey everyone,
I am a new (4 months) owner of a 1981 911 SC that I had alot of work done on to update it. I had new bumpers, side skirts, and an RS wing put on. The car was repainted in the original color and I had new interior put in. I had the engine rebuilt, and it has a very strong transmission. I have been autocrossing it, which is alot of fun. I have learned quite a bit from reading the postings here and have started to do some work on the car myself (new gauges, sending units, ATE blue brake fluid, Swepco 201 for the tranny, etc...) I just thought I would put up a picture of another modified (not stock at all) 911. |

Slick ride !!!
I just got a rear fiberglass bumper just like yours but in turbo fashion. Did you put a lighted license plate on the rear? s |

Tlook
I didn't do lights, but I may have to next year for safty inspection (not sure if it is required). I also have to chase down a short in the back up lights, because I keep blowing the fuse every time I put it in reverse. I changed the back up light switch in the tranny, but that didn't solve it. I just unhooked the wire so I can drive around without blowing that fuse. Any ideas? |
