Yet another brake upgrade question

ok, so I have a 77 track car with sc flares. I got ride of the stock calipers and replaced them with some boxster calipers I had lying around the garage. I use carrera front rotors and the SC rear rotors. Aslo have the 23mm master cylinder

However, upon researching the internet, the boxster calipers are used as an upgrade for many manufacturers like VW an Audi. I have seen ads all day long for upgrades that run 312mm front rotors with these calipers.

This got me to thinking: How do I get bigger rotors on my car?
1) Would a 312mm rotor fit the stock 7" fuchs
2) would I have to add a brake bias valve.
3) WILL a front 312mm with rear stock SC rotor be a good combo?

I remember someone here did this but with custom desinged hats & rotors

MOST IMPORTANTLY
I need someone to explain this to me like they would an 8 year old, as I know nothing about brakes. I basically need a bolt on application if it works. Or step by step instructions on how to ask a manufacturer to make these for me:
hat demensions, stud holes, type of rotor to order etc.

There are so many rotors/hats listed at Wilwood and Coleman, how do you know which to use?
