911 SC gearbox drain plugs

Just went to change the gearbox oil in my 83 SC and found I needed large internal hexagonal drives. Doh!

Can anyone let me know what size internal drives I need to buy for this job?

Many thanks

It is a 17 mm hex drive, the same that VW has been using for decades ...

Instead of buying the hex 17mm allen wrench (late night, all the stores are closed etc...), I took a 10mm bolt and 3 10mm nuts with 17mm hex. I tightened the 3 nuts onto the 10mm bolt. Then I used a 17mm socket and a 1/2" drive. Works great.
