hello.

The Battery on my '77 911 is now flat, and was wondering if there is a specific battery i need to replace the flat one with. Also what brands of batteries should i be looking out for? Any help would be appricated.

A lot of guys here like the Optima Red.

I have an Optima Yellow. Great battery and I'm installing a battery mount for it this weekend after I preserve the entire deep area of my trunk. A PO's battery leaked acid everywhere and it will finally be cleaned out properly this weekend.

Odyssey PC680 MJT

After seeing one of these on another post, I just ordered one. Smaller and lighter than a regular battery. Cheaper than a Optima. Look on E-bay.

Hi

I've been able to source one in the UK, however does it use the OE mounts, or what did you use?

Mmmm, the one available seems to be a motor bike battery Odyssey PC680 MJ?

Thanks.

Odyssey Mount

Funny you should ask. I picked up an aluminum angle iron at Home Depot yesterday. I'm going to fabricate something, hopefully.
