Up here Christmas in October means it's snowed before Halloween. Again. I like your definition better.

I've often wondered with complete rebuilds running close to 8-10K if a new read "used" motor wouldn't make more sense. How much could I expect to pay for a rebuilt stock 3.0 for my SC and is there a motor exchange program?

You'd be better of sending it to me and I don't build motors and I didn't even stay at the Holiday Inn. Poeple do sell running motors in good shape in order to upgrade. With patience, you should be able to find a 3.0 that checks out with a leak down, etc., for 3K and up. Look for receipts if the seller is claming a recent rebuild and asking more. |

Good info Milt. This motor is repalcing a certain meister builder 2.7.
ulrichd- If your looking to upgrade, try DC Automotive. They've been really fair on the motors I've seen come from there.
