Correct Air Pressure Front/Rear
Air Pressure
I drive my 911 several times a week to work/weekend. I run 205/60/15's front and rear. Air Pressure Max is 35 psi on my Yokohamas. What do you recommend correct tire pressure levels for front and rear when cold? I have heard 29 front/31 rear. Does this sound right? |

Hi,
What year is your car? Do you have an owners manual or is the sticker in the engine compartment still present? Either of these will give you the recommened values. For my 1973, I run 29F and 34R.

There is no single "correct" value. The factory values are selected to put more understeer in - in fact, the factory changed as the cars became more commonly purchased by yuppies rather than the hardcore (or maybe those were proto-yuppies...).
I like 30 F 32 R; which is what Todd Serota surprised me with years ago. He puts on DE classes as one of his hobbies and has driven a wide variety of 911s.
