Garage
Old gas=Hard starting Fresh fuel=Could be the cure.
A pre-purchase inspection (PPI) with a qualified mechanic is always money well spent in determining the health, or lack there of the P car in question.

do a search using "grady clay" as the member name and some relative key words. You'll find a comprehensive and authoritative thread on appropriate startup process after hibernation.

Talk to the owner about how much he had covered and see what you think. Condensation in the oil and fuel systems can cause some problems. 3 years worth could amount to a lot.

My 71 had 2 leaky brake cylinders, and an axle seal leak after 4 years of storage.
