LED third brakelight - which one?
I did a search for this and found a thread concerning the install of one of these LED brakelights but they no longer carry them at Auto Zone, where can you get one? I'd like a really bright one after a close call with a tailgating Navigator in St. Louis last weekend. I like the one Jack Olsen installed on his black 911 - which one should I buy?

Go to Autozone.com. Search for LED, and then click the link to "brake." It's part number WE6-197. $19.99 plus shipping. They say it's a special order item that usually ships in 3-5 business days.

It's a 47G. They used the 47D in Korea.

I ordered and have been using one of these for a while now for the same reason; tailgaters... LED Brake Flasher Works well, is small, and easily adjustable regarding sensitivity... And no wiring! And VERY bright... Eric

Shouldn't it be red? Does it light up just from the braking inertia?
