CV Gaskets

any tips to keeping the gasket in place on the cv flange to the wheel? having a job trying to get drive shaft back without tearing the gasket....thanks for any tips

Well, you need to have all of the CV bolts sticking out past the gasket, for one thing! You could try looping a piece of sewing thread a foot or so long around two of the opposite bolt threads sticking out, then try starting a couple of the other bolts, but don't tighten all the way -- just a turn or two! Then pull out the thread, and start all of the other bolts.
