Better phone number or email for Al Reed?

I've got this number 714-632-3907, but the answering machine says "memory is full" after about 15 rings.

Anyone have a better phone or email?

Thanks,

Wayne

That's the same number I had when I had my Fuch's re-done by him. Just give him a couple days and keep trying. That's what I did and he'll eventually get his messages. Then it got to the point where he would actually answer the phone. He's a great guy and his wife is super nice.

I didn't do the e-mail thing, just so you know. But it may be worth a try.....

edit: Oh, I didn't know he doesn't do email. Old School, Cool!

Good Luck!

It took me 3 days to get through to them! I just kept trying at various times during the day and finally got through around lunch time.

Al Reed and Co. are SUPER nice and do great work for great prices. They're an old-school mom and pop shop! They can be hard to get ahold of, but they always keep their promises and get their wheels done on time. Keep trying, and leave a message when you can. They will call you back...they always do for me within 24 hours.

He does mail, too. As in USPS. Wheels, he's good at. Getting anything else done, like the hand painted caps, or a one-off wheel restoration project could take months. Even to talk about it. Ask me how I know. I love Al and Diane, both. They seem to even like me...... Maybe it's just politeness.

One thing for sure, mention Pelican and you're in. I'm surprised the red carpet isn't out for Wayne.

With that kind of demand, Al maybe should read up on marketing and pricing: when demand is (too) high, prices need to rise.

Bite your tounge! He does and excellent job for the price, and let's just leave it that way. I'm not saying screw him over and take advantage of him. But instead of raising the price maybe he should expand a little at the same price or just barely a touch higher (like a couple bucks) so people aren't on a waiting list. It's a volume thing.

Too busy looking at my 9's but what took me away from my 9's was a special set of Fuchs there and while Dianne was giving me some history on these fuchs I was in awe of 9 & 11 x 15's in front of me......deep is all I can see in pockets and view....
