UnStock at Eibach

Eibach will be hosting the PCA Unstock show this Sunday (Nov. 17th) from 10 AM to 2 PM. We will have the doors to the factory open and you can check out how springs, sway bars and shocks are being made besides having over 200 modified Porsches on display.

We will have our 1981 SC on the lift which is going through an unstock process right now.

The long block arrived. I had it assembled at Torque Power Engines. I installed the M&K exhaust and I will take it home to install the CIS after the show.
I changed the 3.0 to a 3.2SS with Mahle pistons and cylinders, Carillo rods and 964 cams.

We installed MCS coil overs with Eibach springs and Wilwood brakes. More to come.

I thought it is time to update the build. We had a great Unstock show and I took the motor home after the show to mount the CIS. I updated the wiring harness with a new one from Timmy2. The CIS is updated to the larger intake runners and I added an Achtungkraft airbox. All new fuel lines from BoxsterGT (Len) and I had all the CIS components rebuild at CIS Flowtech.

I watched a ton of youtube vidoes and read a bunch of threads here on Pelican to figure out all the vacuum hoses. Pelican is a great resource for all of it.

Next was a new flywheel and a Centerforce clutch.

Then I installed a new CSF oilcooler which looks better than the original and fit perfect

Last was the install of the gearbox

I will take the motor back to the shop next week to install it and to get it running after sitting for 25 years.
In the meantime I sent my MCS shocks back to their factory to change the reservoirs to piggy back units,

I have been running this same recipe (Big port 3.2ss w/964 cams, light flywheel and CIS) for a long time. I think you're going to be really pleased with gains over the stock setup.
