Wevo sway bar mount & 930 - How?

I was looking to install these when I put my set of TRG bars on but realized that the rear fuel pump is right "there" (above) with fuel lines, etc. running thru that area.

So it seems that at least the pump should be removed before welding?
Is that the case?
