MSD Ignition box

I posted a couple weeks ago, but inadvertently deleted my e-mail.

I have a 73 911T with six-pack Webbers on a 2.4L engine. I have installed new NGK plugs, Clewett plug wires and a MSD Blaster Coil. What MSD ignition box should I use for this setup? I remember someone posting I needed a MSD 6, but which will work best?

My car is an occasional driver on windy country roads in southern Ohio.

Thanks for any assistance.

regular 6AL works fine...

MSD 6AL provides the rev limiter function. The 6A doesn't. One of these days I'm going to switch out from the 6A to the 6AL. Good luck, GB. :)

yeah ,it's the regular A i mean..

rev limiting on mine is done simply via the dizzy/rotor.. works just as well

One other question. Even fire or odd fire?

Jim Richards 10-31-2006 08:24 AM

Huh?

Porsche sixes are all even-fire; only the Buick 90 deg V6 used the split main journals and odd-firing order.
