How do you get the new washer pump on the tank?

I know this sounds stupid, but how do you get the new washer pump bracket onto the washer tank? The low stud it's supposed to press onto collapses into the bottle before the bracket snaps on. I've tried sticking all kinds of things through the hole at the top to press from the back, but can't get enough leverage. I'm thinking of filling the tank up about 3/4 and freezing it to have something solid to press on, but I'm afraid the tank may crack when the ice expands. How did the factory do this? Any suggestions?

try warming the tank up a bit, maybe some hot water, a little silicone grease also helps.

Ran into the same issue with my 73.5 and glad I came across this thread. Filling the tank with 3/4 water and freezing did the trick. Pump bracket snapped right on with a screwdriver and a little help with a hammer. BTY...in order to get the old pump off, I warmed the tank in hot water.
