Turbo tie rod kit
Just received Hamburg Technic TURBO TIE ROD kit.
Anyone have any experience with this brand and with chrome being used instead of painted black? A Good or Bad product? ![]() |

The quality of their parts used to be grim - rubber boots on ball joints would perish far too quickly. Hopefully they're better now.

crap. I just had some installed on my 3.2. My mechanic commented on the quality (lack there of) but he said it was at least than better stock and will do fine but fit and finish was certainly lacking.
kicking myself for not doing more research. I thought they were OEM--I guess I got them confused with Lemforder. Well, I guess I'll have them replaced when I tackle the control arm bushings... Correction: Actually, I didn't get confused the part description was misleading... One area of the webpage for the kit states Hamburg-Technic tie rods but at the bottom of the full description it states "kit includes Lemforder tie rods..." frustrating. Plan to call ECS to see what the deal is...
