Ignition glitch?

So, I had somthing happen the other day that kinda baffled me. I was going to take the car for a drive with a friend, but before she arrived I decided to go fill the car up with some gas. I hopped in, started it up and went on my way. Got to the gas station, shut the car off, pumped the gas and then got back in and headed home. I got home, shut the car off and headed in the house for a few minutes. Now, I am not sure how much this pertains to the story, but I might as well give you all the specifics of what happened. So I decided I would put my radar detector in the car, I had never done so before. I plugged it into an existing plug ( from the last owner ) and the radar detector didnt work. I plugged it into the lighter, still nothing, so I was like "Oh well, I guess there is no juice hooked up to those spots" I threw the radar detector back on the shelf and decided to wash the car before I headed out. Hopped in, went to turn the key and nothing, it just went "click", almost like the battery was dead. I tried a few more times and same thing. I decided to pull out the battery charger, I figured what the heck, it would be worth a try. I hooked it up, got in the car, and same thing "click".... I was a little frustrated, so I went into the house, grabbed a flashlight to see what I could see (it was a little dark out)... Before looking, I figured I would try one more time... It started right up, no problems, no hesitation. I have not had the problem sence... It has an electromotive crankfire ignition. I am not sure if that will help the story at all.

The only other time anything like this happened was the first day I went to pick the car up... It just clicked, so we hooked up the jumper cables, and it started right up. I had assumed that the battery had just gone dead and didnt think anything of it until now.

Any Ideas?
