Welcome to the forum.

Yes...but its alot of work to get the rear done. The front suspension just bolts in. The rear needs to have a 930 tube welded in at the correct angle or use the aftermarket trailing arm mounts and the top shock mounts need to be updated so the shock will work with the correct upright angle. I put a 930 suspension on a 1970 911 about 18 years ago and it worked great. There is porbably some other small things that will need to be done that I don't remember right now. Do you have a 930 suspension already? Goodluck.

I don't have the 930 suspension, I wont to be sure that I can put it on the car before I buy it.
If I get a 73 chassis, does it have the same problems.

All 911s from 69 to 89 are very similar and with a little bit of "persuasion" can accept interchangeable components. parts will bolt on. the early and later (within that 20 year period) cars have some subtle differences in the rear trailing arm mounts and also the rear shock mount cross member.

73 will have the same issues as the 69, more or less.

The only difference upfront from the 69 will be the struts, the brakes, the hubs and torsion bar size. Sounds like a lot, but the a-arms are the same.

In the rear, the 930 uses shorter trailing arms and different geometry. As 935 says, the suspension pickups will need to be modified.

Adding 930 torsion bars and brakes isn't a huge task, even if you don't add the 930 trailing arms.

It is important to consider why you want to put in the 930 suspension? The parts are more expensive, if it is just for the brakes, there are another way to add the 930 brakes.

If it is for the rear anti-dive geometry, you'll probably need to make some significant changes to the early chassis. Actually any 69 to 89 911 would need significant changes to the chassis to accommodate the rear trailing arms from a 930.

I’am building a 2.8 RSR clone, and the Turbo 917 brakes is a must on the car.
So I’d like the complete turbo suspension on the car, with coil-overs.

My car today has alu. rear arms, but it looks like they are mounted in the original rear mounts.

I have started to find parts for the car. I have:
A 69 complete and running car. (Might get a 73 chassis if I can find one)
A 2.4S engine with 2.8 C/P kit on it.
A 85 liter 1973 RS fuel tank
Just need the rest

I think to properly run coil-overs you will need to beef up the chassis with cage, etc. changing the rear trailing arm pickups won't be a big deal, given your project.

Sounds cool and good luck,

Doug
