Calling All convertible top gurus, Cable tension adjustment??

I had a new top put on my car last spring. The drivers side was nice and tight over the door but the passenger side had a slight bubble. That bubble has since gotten worse. I know there is a cable inside the top that puts tension on the top. I removed the window seals on the top as well as the front metal. I can see the spring inside the top rail as well as the cable where it attaches to the spring. I removed the screw at the back of the convertible top and pulled on the cable and it doesn't feel like the cable is broken.

My question is, is there a way to put more tension on the cable or has my cable stretched and needs to be replaced? I don't see any way to adjust the spring tension. What I do see is a bolt that fastens the front of the spring to the top. The fastener above the door is properly installed as was the cable attachment point at the back of the door.

My problem is, when driving I get wind noise where the top is not tight to the frame. The top opens and closes fine but the passenger side needs more tension.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

this is one of those threads where any pictures provided would be great.

There really isn't much to take pics of.
What I found is the metal retainer that holds the spring on the top has two dimples punched into it. I'm assuming those dimples should face forward and the spring stretched to reach one of the dimples then tighten the bolt to hold the tension. The dimples were facing the back of the car so it looked to me like there was no way to put tension on the spring and hold it unless those dimples faced the front of the car. I have it tight for now. We'll see what others say.
