Wire Harness for 81 911SC?
Where can I find a compleat wire harness for a 1981 911 SC? It seems that I can only find harnesses for pre 69 cars. We need to replace a fire damaged harness that runs from the fuse box to the right rear of the engine compartment. Help!!!

Is that the 'engine' harness from the 14-pin connector that plugs into the fuse/relay/CDI 'console'? If it is, and the connector is still intact, you or a competent electronic technician should be able to 'resurrect' the harness, by replacing the wires, one by one ... given the factory schematic, and patience ... a little time to order the correct color and gauge wire needed. May sound unreasonable to some, but I'm not sure of the wisdom of a used harness from a salvage yard!!!
