carb cleaning
The other day I saw what looked like some kind of Teflon wraps for the throttle shafts on a Weber carb, 40 ida. I don't see this part when I look at the parts diagram. Anyone know what exactly it is, or how to use it?
Is there any reason not to completely submerge the carb body in cleaner, after being stripped of all but the throttle shafts? ie- any plastic anywhere, to worry about? Thanks as always!
