OIL LINES FROM TANK
THERE ARE TWO OIL LINES THAT ARE COMING FROM THE OIL TANK, ONE IS A S STYLE WITH CLAMPS AND THE OTHER ONE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED WITH A WRENCH, THIS IS THE ONE I NEED TO REPLACE (IT’S LEAKING) MY QUESTION, WERE DOES THAT LINE GO AND HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE? THANKS THE CAR IS A 88 930.

Bob - there should be 3 lines coming from the tank. The one clamped on is the vent going to the top of the motor. One goes to the engine cooler (bottom) and one goes to the turbo's oil pump (rear). You should be able to make this out by jacking the car and following the hoses. It sounds like the turbo oil pump line may be the one in question.

The line with a fitting is the pressurized scavenge line, and carries hot, aerated oil. Unless I am mistaken, all 930's had front fender oil coolers, so that scavenge line comes from the thermostat forward of the right rear tire, low, just above the hard brass tubes going forward to the external cooler.
