Question about rim size
I feel like a dope once again, but I can't identify my rim sizes.
Where is the number on the rim? Or, if I give the tire sizes, maybe someone knows. Front P 205/55 Rear P 225/50 Thanks in advance. ------------------ Kurt B 1984 911 Carrera Cabriolet 75 914 1.8 |

If they are Fuchs wheels, the size is lightly anodized inside on the back of one of the spokes, as is the part number!

Kurt,
I'm no expert here, but keep on reading your tire sizes and the size will appear after the width and ratio of sidewall to width numbers. I'm guessing either 15 or 16. I'm nowhere near a car so I can't explain it very well. Good luck. ------------------ Jeff 1976 911S |

Hey Warren, On the wheels in my garage the part numbers are "Forged" into the wheel it's part of the stamping process. My wheels have Porache part number plus size like J7x15 and J8x15

It looks like you have 6 and 7 inch 16 diameter rims. It was an option in your year from the standard 15".
