Marchal Alternator
anyone know where/how I can get new thru bolts for an 81' alternator?? I screwed up the existing ones by using a hammer on the stud ends to seperate things...dooooou what an idiot I am...but I was in a hurry to get fan off to take fan to bead blast shop... (6 bolts @ ~4.5" long)

I got replacement parts at a "mom and pop" alternator repair shop. They had brushes in stock and other stuff as this alternator is used in other applications. They asked me what it was from and did not freak when I said 911. Did not raise the price either.
I have an extra alternator that has been dropped and housing cracked at home. Am overseas working now and not home for a month but if you can wait that long you can have the bolts for postage. Joe A

Thanks Joe A!! I appreciate & accept your offer. In the mean time, I will visit a shop up in Boston and if no luck with the studs there I would bu indebted to you and greatly appreciate this.
I will let you know some time next week on this post how I make out from the Boston shop. Bob
